Welcome to my V8-trike page 2

I am using a 1977 350 engine from a 1/2 ton pickup and the 350 auto transmission. The rear-end is out of a 1986 Lincoln with a 2.73 gear ratio and has disk brakes.

This page is still under construction just like the trike.

If anybody has any trike pictures that you would like to share on my site I have a gallery started now so be sure to check it out and see some beautiful trikes.

Tail gate I have added a tailgate to make it look like a little pickup and I can now haul things without the worry of it falling out. I kept the weight at a minimum by using light weight tubing and expanded metal.

Tail gate This is just a view from the other side of the trike and you know it looks the same.

mud flap girlsHere is a couple mud flap girls that I am going to put on the back of my trike but they will be centered on each side when i get them finished. I am going to put an eagle between the girls but am having trouble finding a good picture of an eagle with is wings spread. I want to make the eagle about 24 inches wide and no more then 11 inches high. I want one like on the license plate frames so if any body sees one let me know. I have been trying to draw one but I am not a very good artist. and I only want a silhouette. I have found thousands of  pictures but none will work that I have looked at.

Eagle I did not get anybody wanting to draw me an eagle so I drew my own and I think it turned out pretty good. I wanted to find some pretty lady that would send me a picture posed like that mud flap girl and I could use a real person not just a drawing but nobody has volunteered. LOL I guess I will just have to use my drawing.

I went on a trip of about 1500 miles this last Spring and had some problems with the engine heating up if I got over about 55 MPH. I run some radiator cleaner through it and it helped but I still could only ride about 60 MPH and when going down Interstate 5 in California you had better be able to go about 70 mph or you get run over. When I got back to Oregon I pulled the radiator and it was only a standard radiator so called the parts house and they could get a 4 core radiator for about 150.00, so I got one and installed it. Now the engine only gets to a maximum of 170 degrees even on hot days going up hill at 70 MPH +. So all you guys out there having trouble with your engine heating up This could be the cause of it. I have even changed fans and got the highest flow fans I could fine in a wrecking yard.

Willy and me in Fresno calif a Few of my cousins

These pictures are why I went to Fresno on my trip this last Spring. My Uncle Willy is 89 years old and loves the trike. I do not know which he likes better riding on the trike or waving at all the pretty women. The picture of all the pretty women are my cousins and my Uncle's daughters all in Fresno California. This is only a few of his daughters and I lost count many years ago.
